MULTIMEDIA

Here are some examples of my foundational photography and web design skills. Through prior experience, I have enough experience to produce usable visual journalism in the field. However, one of my main goals in college is improving my multimedia storytelling. In the coming months, I’ll be taking classes on video and audio journalism and hopefully taking more photography assignments for The Daily Northwestern.

PHOTOGRAPHY

As I’ve previously mentioned, I have some foundational knowledge of photography, including basic DSLR camera use, basic composition, and basic photo editing. Working with other student journalists at The Daily Northwestern, I hope to build on those skills.

DESIGN

In addition to designing the Editorial page of Central Times for two years, I also have about three years of extensive experience using Student Newspapers Online (SNO), to publish on the Central Times website. Features I’m familiar with include photo galleries, video embeds, and overall site and widget layout.
